Versioning

When backwards-incompatible changes are made to the framework, a new dated version is released. The current version is 2024-03-20. For information on all framework updates, a changelog will be made available. Previous framework versions will always be made available.

Iteration Process

While the framework is rooted in first principles to ensure its universality, a versioning mechanism exists to allow for swift iteration. As the document undergoes a process of optimization, readers should prioritize using the current version. By design, references to external documents and sources are limited as much as possible, so everything is contained in a single source of truth.

Version Compatibility

As the goal is to deliver an uninterrupted experience across all versions, ATLAZ commits to make versions as compatible as possible.

Feedback Submissions

The framework’s open-source ethos is based on public scrutiny and feedback. To ensure its integrity and fidelity to its principles, all submissions undergo a rigorous review process, in which ATLAZ reserves the final say, while striving to incorporate as many beneficial suggestions as possible. Submissions are then grouped and published in blocks, conforming a new version of the framework, with its applied modifications.
